*Would you support the development of a "bionic" person?
Yes, I strongly support the development of "bionic person if person needs are due to their medical conditions. I'm having heart disease which called mitral valve regurgitation. I actually need to get replacement for my mitral valve. This replacement heart valve surgery gives the patient to choose either artificial valve or animal's valves are from pig or cow. Moreover, the procedures of surgery can be made from two options which are from robot assiting and computer monitor or simple open heart surgery from cardiologist. I think I will get artificial heart valve made from factory because this valve life expediency is infinite compared to animal valves. I also want to get robot assisting heart surgery because the scar will be much less noticeable and minimal. I think due to medical purpose and being bionic person is totally acceptable and need to being develop more because this give a lot of people hope.
*Would your view change if this were for a military purpose?
As mention above, I will be very supportive if military purpose is related to medical condition. If the purpose of development of bionic person is only for military issue then I strongly against it. The development of bionic must be helping people who are having disability.
